LUCKY CHARMS IPA-ALL YOUR SATURDAY MORNING MEMORIES IN A CAN

Do you ever sit and reminisce about the days of watching Saturday morning cartoons in your ninja turtles pajamas while eating your favorite cereal? Well, Smartmouth brewing company aims to bring back those warm and fuzzies with their new limited release Lucky Charms flavored IPA.

“Saturday Morning” is a 6.6% ABV IPA brewed in house toasted marshmallows and bulk dehydrated-marshmallow bits. It has been hoppped and dry-hopped with Galaxy and Calypso hops. The nose is sweet and citrus, with orange and pear aromas. The result is “magically, ridiculous” says the brewery.

We hate to kill your dreams of spending the weekend sipping lucky charms in liquid form, but this beer will only be available in limited release. And by limited we mean only available in their brewery in Norfolk, VA on Saturday March 2nd.  Then a limited amount of cans will be distributed to local restaurants and bars.

To celebrate the release they are having a full day of Saturday Morning activities including the beer release, pizza truck, tower of games, local heroes comic book stand, cosplay, nerd trivia and live music. Sounds like a pretty epic Saturday to us.

So, what do you think? Would you hop on a flight to VA to get your hands on this new beer filled with all your childhood memories? It may be magically ridiculous or it could be magically delicious.  Since we don’t know anyone who has tried it, the jury is still out. But, if you can get your hands on it you might be the envy of all your beer loving friends.
