MUST-HAVE CHRISTMAS COCKTAILS AT TACOS & BEER

Christmas Cocktails at Tacos & Beer Las Vegas

’Tis the season. And depending upon who you talk to, that could be a good thing or a bad thing. Maybe you put up your tree two months ago, maybe you cringe every time you hear a bell jingle in the distance. Love it or hate it, the holidays are upon us. And regardless of whether the month of December makes you yearn to celebrate each and every cozy moment or run through the holly-decked aisles of every store screaming, everyone can agree Christmas cocktails are a major perk of the season.

Luckily, Tacos & Beer gets it, and we’ve created some seriously festive and outrageously delicious cocktails. It doesn’t matter if you’re a holiday-lover or a Grinch this season, after your first sip of any of these fabulous drinks, your heart is likely to grow at least three sizes.

 Check these out:

Caramel Swizzle

Smirnoff Vodka

Cold Brew Concentrate

Salted Caramel Kahlua

Garnish: 3 Coffee Beans

Pairs well with any dessert, particularly our flan. This coffee-forward stunner is sweet with a touch of salt and just might be the mandatory cap to any meal this month, especially after a long holiday shopping day.

Mexican Pick-Me Up

Xicaru Reposado Mezcal

Cold Brew Concentrate

Ancho Reyes

Simple Syrup

Garnish: Lemon Peel

Think coffee but with an even bigger kick. Ancho and poblano chiles are steeped in simple syrup to create the wonder that is Ancho Reyes. We mix that with good tequila and cold brew concentrate to create a slightly spicy, smoky, and unbelievable amped up cocktail. This one pairs perfectly with our dark-chocolatey Enchiladas de Mole.

 Bee’s On Parade

Monkey Shoulder Scotch

Amaro di Angostura

Honey Syrup

This lush cocktail is the elixir you wish your mother had given you when you were feeling under the weather. The aromatic cinnamon and licorice tones of the Angostura bitters swirled with sweet honey syrup is a legendary partner to a silky, malty scotch like Monkey Shoulder. No need to have the sniffles to enjoy this cocktail, it’ll make you feel better regardless of how you felt before you took your first sip. Pairs well with Pork al Pastor, Carnitas, Puerco Verde, or our slow-roasted Cochinita Pibil.

Second Breakfast

BSB (Brown Sugar Bourbon)

Antica Carpano Sweet Vermouth

Apple Bitters

Garnish: Pumpkin Spice Rim and Dried Apples

Cinnamon and brown sugar-flavored bourbon would be good enough on its own, but when mixed with vanilla-forward Antica Carpano and the caramelized apple taste of the bitters, you’ve got yourself the liquid version of a warm hug. Pair this cocktail with churros because why not?

Golden Girl

Xicaru Reposado

St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram

Araceli Marigold Liqueur

Fall Syrup

Cardamom Bitters

Chocolate Bitters

Garnish:  Star of Anise and Orange Peel

Simply, the best flavors of the season in a glass. The Allspice Dram, Fall Syrup, plus Cardamom and Chocolate bitters bring all the seasonal notes you know and love and then some, but the rich, floral, and fragrant secret weapon here is Araceli Marigold Liqueur. Pairs well with our awesome Tortilla Soup or Flautas.

DEELICIOUS

Monkey Shoulder Scotch

Horchata Syrup

St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram

Chocolate Bitters

Garnish: Nutmeg

Adequately named, this lovely seasonal drink has an irresistible Mexican flair. Horchata Syrup offers the cinnamon and vanilla that naturally pairs so well with Allspice Liqueur and Chocolate Bitters to marry brilliantly with smooth and malty Monkey Shoulder Scotch. Try Deelicious with our famous Choco-Tacos for an extra special treat.

Regardless of how you feel about it, the holidays will be over before you know it. That said, you’ve still got plenty of time to try each and every one of our holiday cocktails before we’re on to the next season. We’ll see you soon and Happy Holidays!
